Shipping Policy
Shipping, delivery, destination responsibility, and shipment review rules for ADRIA orders.
Research-use-only shipping notice: Adria Science ships only products supplied for lawful research, laboratory, analytical, educational, or R&D purposes where permitted by applicable law. The customer is responsible for confirming destination eligibility before ordering.
This Shipping Policy explains fulfilment, dispatch, delivery estimates, tracking, destination-country responsibility, failed delivery, customs issues, and shipment-support rules for Adria Science orders.
1. Fulfilment Model
Orders are normally fulfilled through EU logistics capacity coordinated primarily through Hungary. Adria Science may use other lawful EU dispatch routes where required by stock location, product availability, carrier routing, legal requirements, operational resilience, or delivery feasibility.
The exact dispatch route, logistics partner, carrier, packaging method, and shipment method are selected by Adria Science unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. A different carrier or dispatch route is not itself a reason for refund, cancellation, compensation, or free reshipment.
2. Processing Time
In-stock products are normally prepared for dispatch after payment confirmation, stock verification, order review, and compliance review. Processing is usually 1-3 business days, but may take longer where payment verification, stock checks, batch checks, preorder timing, documentation review, compliance review, public holidays, carrier capacity, or operational circumstances require more time.
Preorder products, backorder products, or products with special handling are dispatched according to the expected timeframe shown on the product page, checkout, or order communication where available. Such timeframes are estimates unless expressly confirmed as binding in writing.
3. Shipping Costs and Methods
Available shipping methods and shipping costs are shown at checkout. Costs may depend on destination, carrier availability, order value, product type, shipment weight, shipping protection selection, delivery route, and operational circumstances.
Adria Science may change, remove, replace, or restrict shipping methods at any time before accepting or dispatching an order where required by carrier rules, legal restrictions, compliance review, stock availability, payment review, logistics conditions, or destination risk.
4. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times depend on the destination country and selected or available service. EU orders are commonly delivered within several business days after dispatch, while non-EU or controlled destinations may vary substantially. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless Adria Science expressly confirms a binding delivery date in writing.
Carrier delays, public holidays, customs checks, border inspections, local delivery disruptions, incorrect address details, missed delivery, failed collection, payment review, compliance review, stock routing, and force majeure events may affect delivery time.
5. Tracking
Where tracked shipping is used, tracking details are added to the order and sent through the normal WooCommerce shipment email after the shipment is prepared. Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier or logistics provider and may appear with a delay.
The customer must monitor tracking regularly. If tracking shows an issue, attempted delivery, collection requirement, customs request, address issue, or hold, the customer must act while the parcel is still in the destination country and while the carrier can still complete delivery.
6. Mandatory Delivery Conditions
The following conditions are required for successful delivery and for any request for free reshipment, refund, store credit, or compensation to be reviewed:
- Use a full and real recipient name.
- Provide a complete, accurate, and deliverable address without spelling errors.
- Use a reachable phone number with the correct country code.
- Remain available to receive or collect the parcel.
- Track the parcel and act promptly if a delivery issue appears.
- Do not redirect or change the delivery address after dispatch unless you accept the resulting risk.
- Provide requested evidence, carrier response, authority notice, photos, or video where required by the Returns, Refunds and Reshipment Policy.
7. Destination-Country Responsibility
The customer is solely responsible for verifying before purchase that the Goods may lawfully be purchased, imported, received, possessed, stored, handled, used, transferred, and disposed of in the destination country and any transit country that may be relevant.
For non-EU deliveries or deliveries subject to import controls, the customer is responsible for import documentation, local restrictions, customs formalities, duties, taxes, fees, permits, declarations, registrations, authority communication, and related legal requirements.
8. Customs Holds, Authority Action, and Import Issues
If customs, a carrier, or another public authority contacts the customer about a shipment, the customer must act lawfully, truthfully, and promptly. Adria Science does not instruct customers to make false, incomplete, or misleading statements to public authorities.
The customer must provide Adria Science with official written documentation if the parcel is held, seized, refused, destroyed, or not released by an authority. A screenshot or informal statement may not be sufficient where the carrier or authority requires official documentation.
Customs holds, seizure, non-release, destruction, delay, import restrictions, or destination-country legal barriers do not automatically create a right to refund, free reshipment, compensation, or store credit. The request will be reviewed under the Returns, Refunds and Reshipment Policy, the selected shipping protection status where applicable, and mandatory law.
9. Failed Delivery
If delivery fails because of incorrect or incomplete details, unavailable recipient, failure to answer the carrier, failure to collect, refusal of delivery, address redirection, non-cooperation, destination-country restrictions, failure to complete customs formalities, or another reason attributable to the customer or destination country, Adria Science is not obliged to resend the shipment unless expressly agreed in writing.
If a parcel is returned, destroyed, abandoned, stored, or charged because of such circumstances, Adria Science may deduct shipping, return, storage, customs, administrative, handling, destruction, carrier, payment, and related costs from any amount otherwise refundable, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Address Changes After Dispatch
After a parcel has been handed to the carrier, Adria Science normally cannot change the delivery address. If the customer asks the carrier to redirect, hold, reroute, or change the parcel, this is done entirely at the customer's risk. Loss, delay, failed delivery, or tracking failure after customer redirection does not qualify for free reshipment, refund, store credit, or compensation unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
11. Shipping Protection
Where optional shipping protection is offered at checkout, it must be actively selected and recorded on the order. Shipping protection does not remove the customer's delivery conditions, destination-country responsibility, import responsibility, or evidence obligations.
When shipping protection is selected, documented delivery failure, confirmed loss, returned-to-sender events, or lawful customs hold or seizure issues may qualify for one replacement shipment or store credit under the Returns, Refunds and Reshipment Policy, subject to compliance with all conditions. Shipping protection does not guarantee cash refund unless mandatory law requires it or Adria Science expressly agrees in writing.
